New prestige project in Roeselare

In consultation with the board and architects, Cominotto developed a unique Terrazzo tile that will give the impressive entrance hall and reception area additional attention and colour.
A prestige project to be proud of.
We look forward to discovering it with great anticipation at the end of 2024.
To be continued...

'City of Roeselare has won the Publica Award 2023 for The Most Sustainable Town Hall in Flanders. The annual award ceremony, organised by EBP, honours outstanding public projects within different categories, and Roeselare's town hall, designed by B-architects, Bressers Erfgoed, Arcadis and Arne Deruyter, won the coveted Climate Responsibility Award. The jury was impressed by the way City Hall involved residents and employees in this project from the very beginning. After all, the construction of City Hall is an impactful project, for residents all around, for passers-by and for staff and policy. From the outset, it was clear that City Hall had to become a house of people, not just of bricks. From demolition to the construction phase, to the opening: the Roeselare town hall is for the people of Roeselare. For the town hall project, this meant: involving the people of Roeselare and employees as much as possible beforehand, and informing them as much as possible during the project. A lot of actions were set up to actually realise this: participation projects with inhabitants and neighbours, circular demolition, consistent communication, participation of city employees.
The City of Roeselare is proud of this trophy, a fine reward for an initiative that the City consistently carries out together with its citizens and employees.'
